Almighty and all-good God, You have given life to
my
fellow human beings and me.
I hope not to endager this precious gift by
drunkenness, recklessness or haste
Therefore, O Lord, give me a steady hand and
a watchful eye, lest anyone be injured
or killed by my
guilt or carelessness.
And You, who has our fate in your hands, also
take care that no others are causing an accident
to
my traveling companions or me.
Finally, let me always think of a good
and final journey to You, my merciful and loving-
full Father. Amen.
