Despite the ongoing war in Ukraine, commercial activities are still ongoing.

Large numbers of personal stamps are still being produced and offered on the internet. One of those stamp "publishers" has created its own postmark for the event "World Motorcycle Day", held worldwide every year on June 21, and placed it on envelopes franked with personalized stamps, next to an official postmark. But unfortunately the tinkerer printed the wrong date, and put in the 19th of June.

Many different envelopes with motorcycle images have been made. Costs: around €20 each.

The good observer will see that the "value indication" on the Ukrainian PPZ has been changed from a V to a U. Before the Russian invasion, the country name was still written in Russian on official papers (Украина), but after the start of the war this was changed into Arabic and so the У has been replaced by the U, indicating that this stamp is suitable for domestic mail.

The Singapore Postal Service is celebrating its 165th anniversary this year with a series of stamps with images of post offices. Not that interesting for us as long as there is no motorcycle parked in front of it.

But on one of the stamps we see a motorcyclist standing at the mailbox, and there is also a promotional postmark for the open day with a scooter driver in it.

In the end still interesting for us.
