Does the "Black Cat Detective", also called "Black Cat Sheriff" or "Black Cat Inspector", on his futuristic flying motor vehicle, belong in our collection?
Who is that black cat detective?? It is a classic animation produced by Shanghai Animation Film Studio. The story is about the detective Mr. Black Cat who travels around on his motorcycle and solves all kinds of tricky cases.

"Black Cat Detective I" was first shown on TV in 1984. A remake "Black Cat Detective II" was released in 1993, and a movie was released in 2010. In this Science Fiction style film, BC travels on a hovering vehicle that looks like a "motorcycle".

Especially if you also consider the future of the motorcycle, this Chinese stamp fits it.
In addition to the stamps, a franking slip of the cat and his helpers has also been published.

On the FDCs and maximum cards the detective is also depicted on his current motorcycle.

On April 1 this year, no joke, the Jersey Post presented a series of eight stamps themed "History of the Jersey Emergency Services". Unfortunately, none of the stamps fits in our collection, but the FDC is a nice one for those collectors who want to have everything complete. The envelope contains an image of a Police Honda ST 1100.

If you want to score this envelope, you have to deposit an amount of almost € 19.00 (£ 17.36).
For the Honda Pan European enthusiasts, however, this is a must for the collection.
