Delta Gnom in silver
There are quite a few side-products in the stamp world. Think of all kinds of stamps issues in beautifully illustrated covers, coin letters, modified color issues and so on. Not surprising, of course, because if there is a market for it, why shouldn't you as a postal service get your share? After all, many postal services are suffering today.
So does the Austrian Post. Earlier we saw porcelain stamps, embroidered stamps, stamps made of wood and the crypto stamps that have been discussed by Nico.
For our theme we can now also add the silver stamps, put in a beautiful cover. Silver stamps are currently being issued from Estonia to Niue, and PostNL is also eager to participate.
However, the Austrian stamps are not issued by the Post itself, but are marketed under license by Numiphilum. In the small format (10x10 cm) presentation booklet is, in addition to the silver stamp, also the real stamp included. Unlike, for example, the Dutch silver stamps, these are also not valid for postage franking. A pity, but despite this a nice addition for those who love shiny things.

So far I've only spotted the Delta Gnom motorcycle stamp shown in "Silber", but more may appear in the future.
